# 2. Install the Omnata Plugin

The Plugins are the connectors to SaaS endpoints and databases.

If you have not installed the **Omnata Sync Engine,** go [back](https://docs.omnata.com/omnata-product-documentation/omnata-sync-for-snowflake/step-by-step-guides/1.-install-the-omnata-sync-engine) and do this first.

1. Follow the Snowflake marketplace steps to install the app.
   * Paid plugins have a 30-day free trial, then are billed by the Plugin billing events detailed on the listing.
